Sugar Cane '1940's Special' 13.5oz Super Collectables Straight Leg Jean - One Wash

Sugar Cane '1940's Special' 13.5oz Super Collectables Straight Leg Jean - One Wash

Released to commemorate Sugar Cane's 50th anniversary, the '1940's Special' jean forms part of the brand's Super Denim Collectibles series. Drawing inspiration from rare wartime jeans of the early 1940s, this limited-production model combines painstaking vintage research with Sugar Cane's own interpretation of the era. Produced in Sugar Cane's US factory, using custom-developed 13.5 oz. selvedge denim, the jean features period-correct construction throughout, including hidden rivets and laurel wreath donut buttons. Sugar Cane have deliberately sewn these jeans 'imperfectly' with loose threads and misaligned stitches paying homage to inexperienced workers who stayed on the home front to construct jeans during WWII.Ā  A faithful tribute to war-era denim, executed with Sugar Cane's renowned attention to detail. Expect a classic straight fit with these jeans, with plenty of room in the thighs.Ā
